Join us in San Francisco as we stand up in support of the eradication of extreme poverty.

In 2000, world leaders from 189 countries signed up to the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), a global plan to halve extreme poverty by 2015.

On Oct. 17 2006, more than 23 million people in 87 countries first stood up and took action to remind them of this promise. It was the largest single coordinated mobilization in the history of Guinness World Records. In 2007 43 Million more stood up! Join us again in 2008!

Save the date and join us again on Friday, October 17, 2008!

We will Make History and Make Poverty History!

In August we will announce the details of
our 2008 San Francisco Stand Up event.
