Join us to Stand Up And Take Action Sept. 17 - 19, 2010 at a dozen events in the San Francisco Bay Areas. A Friday noon Stand Up in front of San Francisco's City Hall will kick off three days of Stand Up gatherings at homes, schools, colleges, community centers and places of worship. Working together we really can make poverty history!

2010 is our year to access progress and take action leading up to the 2010 MDG Review Summit on September 20th - 23rd at the UN General Assembly in New York,
the most important global policy event of the year.

The San Francisco Bay Area Stands with the World to End Poverty!

On October 16-19 2009, we joined 173,045,325 citizens gathered at over 3,000 events in more than 120 countries, demanding that their governments eradicate extreme poverty and achieve the Millennium Development Goals.

"Stand Up, Take Action, End Poverty ", has been certified by Guinness World Records as the a new world record and remains the largest mobilization of human beings in recorded history. Thank you for Standing with us!
